Zion National Park now keeps an Extreme Motus all-terrain wheelchair at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center for visitors with mobility challenges or disabilities. The chair is free, first-come first-served, and ranger-supported, with recommended routes such as Pa’rus Trail, Riverside Walk, Weeping Rock, and Lower Emerald Pools. It is a simple accessibility story with a big emotional center: more people get to meet the beauty that was already there. The outdoors feels better when the welcome is wider.
