For the first time in 200 years, a Przewalski’s horse has been born on the steppes of Central Kazakhstan after the species was reintroduced there. The foal is small, but the milestone is enormous for a landscape learning the sound of wild horses again. Some comebacks arrive on long legs and unsteady first steps.
