Clemson University dedicated an 85,000-square-foot Forestry and Environmental Conservation building designed with mass timber and spaces for classroom learning, research, field preparation, and collaboration. The building brings students, faculty, agencies, and conservation partners together under one roof.
A building cannot protect a forest by itself, but it can shape the people who will make decisions about forests, wetlands, fisheries, and wildlife. The project connects sustainable design with the practical work of preparing a new generation of environmental stewards.
