The North Carolina Life Sciences Organization, North Carolina Community College System, and NC Community Colleges Foundation named six students as 2026–27 Samuel M. Taylor Memorial Life Sciences Scholars. The recipients are studying biotechnology, bioprocess manufacturing, clinical research, and facility maintenance at six community colleges.
