The University of St Andrews’ Nature Networks project has been recognized for work that connects habitat restoration with communities and local nature recovery. The project is designed to strengthen ecological links while helping people take part in the stewardship of the places around them.
Nature restoration works best when it becomes part of everyday life rather than a distant specialist project. A network of habitats can support wildlife, but a network of people can help that work last.
