A new inclusive play project at Jack Benson Heritage Park in Chattanooga was celebrated by the city, Hamilton County, and community partners. The project is designed to make play more accessible for children with different abilities, creating a shared public space rather than a separate one.

Accessible playgrounds do more than add equipment. They give families a place to meet, move, and spend time together without having to explain why some children cannot use the usual design. A park becomes more welcoming when more people can simply arrive and join in.
