Atlantic bluefin tuna have returned to waters off northeast England after disappearing from the North Sea for six decades. University of Exeter researchers have tagged five of the fish near Whitby to learn where they travel and help guide conservation and fishery management. Their return is a hopeful sign that careful stewardship can give an ecosystem room to recover.
