Three skydivers in Wisconsin were preparing to jump on September 27 when they spotted signs that another plane had crashed near the airport. With air-traffic permission, their pilot positioned them above a nearby field, and they parachuted down to help.
Kevin Flynn, a former paramedic, attended to an injured passenger while Sean Plastine helped guide emergency responders to the crash site. Authorities reported no life-threatening injuries. The skydivers’ planned landing had become an unexpected route to people who needed assistance.
